Tyler Hendley

My name is Tyler Hendley and I was born in Mission Viejo, California. Still traveling the world as a Professional Skateboarder, I love where I'm from, My sponsors include: Dogtown Skateboards, Oakley, Type-S Wheels, ALIS, SoCal Skateshop, Jimmy Z's, Converse, OLLO Clip, and Coldcock Whiskey. I got an early start into the Action Sports world due to my family being super active in the lifestyle; they had me on surfboards, skateboards and dirt bikes by the time I was four years old. I grew up riding all types of various boards. When I'm not skating, I'm out enjoying the California waves. I also love my motorcycles, my Pops instilled a strong competitive attitude in me at a young age, and I will forever be grateful for it. I've been recognized as one of the top contest skaters of the Dew Tour, I am a 4x international X-Game medalist, and an MVP of Goofy vs Regular contest. I want to take my love for the industry and sport to the next level now. I'm looking at the bigger picture, and have great ideas that I am ready to place into action. I am currently working with Dogtown as an integral part of their marketing team by working directly with the daily social media accounts. In addition to working on team development and feedback out in the streets, skate parks and contests around the world. I had the pleasure in working with CLON Data Capture on their 3D printing also data capture, where they have captured my tricks in 3D for the first time ever - pretty ripping! I recently worked with Oakley on shooting a commercial for their Disruptive by Design for their Prescription Collection (http://rx.oakley.com/us/en) which was a lot of fun, too!
